Dinosaur Starts School by Pamela Duncan Edwards
So cute! Told from the point a view of a little boy, dinosaur is nervous about the first day of school; the boy goes through the day with the dinosaur trying to help him to make the most of his new experience and to not be afraid. The illustrations are adorable and add so much to the story. This would be an excellent choice for parents to read with their children before the first day of school or for a teacher to use as a read-aloud at the beginning of the school year. School is nothing to be afraid of... "it's only noisy because everyone is laughing and having a good time."
