Jason's Bears

Jason's Bears
by Marion Dane Bauer
Very cute. This book is about learning to love what one loves and believe what one believes... and to never be afraid of something just because someone tells you to. I agree with the publisher's recommendation that this book is best to use with children ages 4-8. Because this book would most likely be used as a lap book or read-aloud, it doesn't seem to matter that the text may be too difficult for children of these ages to read on their own, nonetheless, it is important to keep this in mind when choosing it for students. The illustrations are very cute when they need to be, creepy and scary when they need to be, and add a lot to the story.
