Alligator again! I am starting to become a little bored and annoyed with animal stories; however, I cannot resist an alligator book! This one happens to have a TON of onomatopoeia that is fun for children. The text includes lots of repetition of words and sentence structures that are good for building sight vocabulary. This book is also full of descriptive, interesting language and a twist at the end for children. Other than that, not a lot to say...
Haha, cannot resist an alligator book! I love it! The student that I am teaching loves animal books too. They are always the ones that she picks out. I suggest the Scaredy Squirrel Series. I am in love with these books. If you want to hear about them look at my posts on them, but they are funny and really cute.
